These terms govern your use of this site, operated by Insurance Plan Source from 400 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

They are written to be read once, not repeatedly. Where a clause matters to you, it says what happens rather than what might happen.

1. Age and authority

You need to be eighteen or older, and able to enter a contract in your own name. Arranging cover for a company? Confirm first that you are authorised to bind that company, because a request made without authority binds nobody.

2. What this site does

We provide:

• Explanatory material about insurance coverage lines and what questions to ask
• A short request form that records what you want to be routed
• An introduction to insurance companies and producers authorised in your state
• Guides to public regulatory records so you can verify anyone yourself

We are not an insurance company. We do not underwrite, issue, amend, renew, cancel, or service a policy. We cannot approve coverage, cannot set a premium, and cannot guarantee that any carrier will respond to you or that you will be eligible for anything.

3. What we are not

We are not a managing general agent, not a trade association, and not an accreditation body. We hold no accreditation and we do not grant any. We do not claim a licence in every state. Our licensing page sets out exactly what is and is not claimed, and how to check it independently.

4. Nothing here is a quote or a promise

Figures shown on this site are typical starting ranges for illustration. They are not quotes, they are not offers, and they are not indicative of what you will pay. Only a licensed carrier can price your situation, and a price is only real once that carrier issues a declaration page. A contract exists only when a carrier issues a policy, never when you submit a form on this site.

5. What you agree to do

• Give accurate information and keep it accurate
• Use the site for lawful purposes only
• Do not interfere with the site or attempt to disrupt it
• Do not use automated tools to scrape, submit, or overload the forms
• Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your authority
• Do not upload or transmit harmful code
• Do not reuse our content commercially without written permission

6. Accuracy of what we publish

We work hard to keep guidance, regulator links, and carrier references current, and we correct errors when we find them. Coverage rules, filing requirements, and regulatory practice change. Always confirm anything that affects a decision against the regulator's own current publication, and against the policy wording that actually applies to you.

7. How we are paid

A carrier may pay us a commission when a request becomes a placed policy. That payment comes from the carrier, not from you, and it does not change your premium. Commissions can affect which options are featured, which is why the referral disclosure exists and why it is written plainly.

8. Your content and our content

Words, layout, and visual design on this site are owned by Insurance Plan Source or used by permission. Carrier names and other trade marks stay with their owners and identify a company rather than endorse it. Reading, printing, and passing a link on for your own private use is fine. Republishing, bulk extraction, or presenting any part of this site as your own work is not.

9. Third-party sites

We link to regulators, rating agencies, and carriers. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is a convenience, not a recommendation and not an endorsement.

10. Contact with you

By submitting a form you agree that we, and the parties we introduce you to for that request, may contact you by telephone, text message, or email about it. Consent is not a condition of buying anything. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to [email protected]. Message and data charges from your network may apply to anything we text.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ACCURACY. NO GUARANTEE IS MADE THAT THE SITE STAYS AVAILABLE OR ERROR-FREE, AND NO GUARANTEE IS MADE FOR HARMFUL COMPONENTS. 12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Insurance Plan Source AND ITS PEOPLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF PROFIT, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE. 15. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Before going to court, please write to us: most misunderstandings are a misreading and are sorted out in one email. Any formal action must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and both sides consent to that venue.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The revision date at the top of the page tells you when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.
